I wouldn't put it past Bush (or at least Rove and Cheney) - but I'm not
exactly certain why Putin would go out of his way to do those guys any
special favors. My guess would be that Putin would rather see a
relatively inexperienced Obama in the White House, rather than an
old-school cold-war relic like McCain. (On the assumption that the
rookie might be a little easier to manipulate.)

No garden for me this year - Between the homemade bread and cakes,
homegrown tomatoes, cantaloupes and flat beans I'm helping the little
old lady down at the farmer's market put three of her great grandkids
through lawschool.
